2. Information We Collect
Over the past twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as those categories are described under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, collectively the "CCPA"):
- Identifiers — such as name and email address you submit through our contact form, and IP address and online identifiers automatically collected when you visit the Site.
- Customer records information — name and contact information voluntarily provided through forms.
- Internet or other electronic network activity — browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, date and time of visits, and similar log information.
- Geolocation — approximate, non-precise location inferred from IP address (e.g., city/state).
- Inferences — limited inferences drawn from the categories above to understand general site usage trends.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, precise geolocation, biometric information, genetic data, health/medical records, or other categories defined as "sensitive personal information" under the CCPA. We do not request or process such information through the Site.
3. Sources of Information
We collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you — when you submit a contact form, send us an email, or otherwise communicate with us.
- Automatically — through your device and browser when you visit the Site (e.g., server logs, cookies, and similar technologies).
- From service providers — such as analytics and hosting providers, on our behalf.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information for the following business purposes:
- To respond to questions, comments, and requests you submit to us.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To analyze usage and trends in aggregated, de-identified form.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity.
- To comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests.
- To enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights, property, or safety, and that of our users or others.
We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Typical retention periods include:
- Contact form submissions: up to 24 months after our last interaction with you.
- Server logs: up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics data: up to 26 months in aggregated/de-identified form.
- Privacy-request records: as long as required by applicable law (typically up to 24 months).
9. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These include HTTPS encryption, restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis, and routine review of our data-handling practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information, subject to certain exceptions:
- Right to Know — request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information. As stated in Section 6, we do not sell or share personal information.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — direct us to limit the use of sensitive personal information. As stated in Section 2, we do not collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.
- Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83) — California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
- California Minors (Business & Professions Code § 22581) — California residents under 18 who are registered users may request removal of content they have publicly posted. We do not host user-generated public content.
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent's authority and may verify your identity directly.
11. Other US State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under state laws including the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA), Utah Consumer Privacy Act (UCPA), Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA), Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act, and similar laws. These generally include:
- The right to confirm whether we process your personal information and to access it.
- The right to correct inaccuracies in your personal information.
- The right to delete personal information we have about you.
- The right to obtain a copy of your personal information in a portable, readable format.
- The right to opt out of (i) the sale of personal information, (ii) targeted advertising, and (iii) certain profiling. As noted, we do not engage in these activities through the Site.
- The right to appeal a denial of a privacy request. To appeal, contact us at reply@wlixarunghon.world with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
12. How to Submit a Privacy Request
To submit a verifiable consumer request, please contact us by either of the following methods:
- Email: reply@wlixarunghon.world with the subject line "Privacy Request."
- Mail: Wlixarunghon — Privacy Request, 502 Ontario Ave, Park City, UT 84060, United States.
We will need enough information to verify your identity and confirm the request relates to you. This typically includes the email address you used to contact us and a description of the request. We will not use the information you provide for verification for any other purpose.
We will respond to verifiable requests within the time period required by applicable law (typically 45 days, extendable once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you). There is generally no charge to exercise your rights, unless your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
13. Children and Minors (COPPA)
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13 years of age. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at reply@wlixarunghon.world and we will take steps to delete that information.
14. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signal. There is no industry-standard way for websites to respond to DNT signals, and we do not currently respond to them.
We recognize the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal as a valid opt-out preference signal under the CCPA and similar laws. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser or device, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser or device. As described in Section 6, we do not currently sell or share personal information.
15. Third-Party Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources that are not operated by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
